Port Blair, Aug 23: An inter-departmental dance competition was organised by ANCOL on Tuesday as part of the 70 year of Impendence celebration ’70 Saal Azadi: Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani’. Inaugurating the competition, the Principal, ANCOL, Dr R Dev Das motivated students to participate in co-curricular activities, preserve and protect the independence of the country. Eminent dance master, Mr Manikuttan judged the contest.
The Economics Department bagged the first prize, while BPA Music and English Department were placed second and B.Com General secured the third position. Dr Pushpavalli, HoD English proposed the vote of thanks.
