Port Blair, Aug 17: The Chairperson, Municipal Council, Smt Sheela Singh has greeted the islanders on the occasion of Rakhsha Bandhan. Raksha Bandhan is a special festival, commonly known as Rakhi, which celebrates the relationship that exists between sisters and brothers, she said. On the occasion, a delegation from Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (PBKIVV) headed by Sister B.K.Madhu, Centre Incharge met the Chairperson and tied Rakhi to the brother Councillors who were present on the occasion.
