Port Blair, Aug 08: It has been observed that in several places in city people are openly violating PBMC’s building byelaws. The PBMC is yet to decide about one time fine on building violation but till then people are having a free run.
In a recent case it has been found that near Murugan Temple of Port Blair, a land owner are constructing structures by openly violating all norms. This office has been getting multiple complaints in this regard. When contacted some officials of PBMC accepted that the case is an open violation but expressing helplessness in this case he said a case of demolition in this regard has already been submitted to higher authorities.
