Kadamtala, Aug 03: The Bulldozer that was used two days ago to salvage the night bus of Geetanjali Travels, has reportedly caused severe damages to BSNL’s Optical Fibre Cable, disrupting the BSNL network of entire North and Middle Andaman.
The Bus met with an accident at ‘7 Number’ area of Middle Andaman recently, which falls between Rangat and Kadamtala regions.
This major mistake from the side of Bulldozer operator has also affected the livelihood of many those who depend completely on internet.
As per reports, the BSNL has two teams one at Port Blair and another at Mayabunder, which can rectify the fault in the Optical Fibre Cable but even though till now the problem has not been rectified. However an official confirmation in this regard is still awaited.
