Port Blair, July 31: Mr. Bhabesh Majumder, Founder, Sudhangshubala Foundation Trust has appreciated Lt.Governor A.K. Singh and his team for creating innumerable assets within the islands that will go a long way in mitigating the problems of the islanders. In a short span of two years the remote islands of Andaman and Nicobar have witnessed an unbelievable and unprecedented development in all fields. The latest addition of colleges of Nursing and Law are yet another milestone reached by the pro-active Lt. Governor and his team who have been extended full support by the GoI in their sincere efforts for the welfare of the islanders at large. The shifting of Andaman College to its permanent premises at Chakkargaon is a shining example of a well planned project executed within such a short time, said the SFT chief
in a communication lauding the Islands’ Administrator who has gone ahead like a man possessed with thought of well-being of the Islanders upper most in his mind.
Medical College, Law College, Nursing College, Community College, Andaman College-there is a long list of notable achievements in many other sectors under the present Lt. Governor who has worked in a very methodical manner convincing and enlisting the support of the central leadership. Judging by his laudable performance, one can imagine the pace of all round development and employment opportunities when the long awaited undersea internet cable, bridges and national highway will become a reality. The islanders can look forward to a golden era under such a charismatic Lt. Governor, opined Mr. Majumder.
He also requested expeditious filling up of all vacant posts in sundry departments and frequent meetings of the PMEGP Committee to tackle the unemployment problem among youths.
