Port Blair, July 29: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to three of its employees namely Mr M Ramalingam, Tax Inspector, Mr Dharma Raju, Blacksmith and Mr K Chetty, Sanitary mazdoor attached to the Revenue, Works and Sanitary divisions respectively. At a simple function, the Chairperson, Smt Sheela Singh recalled the valuable services rendered by the employees and wished them happy and a healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the retired employees in the presence of senior officials and staff of the Council.
