Port Blair, July 05: An Auto Rickshaw was completely destroyed by fire this evening at around 06:30pm near Vidyut Bhawan, Phoenix Bay.
According to reports, the incident took place immediately when the Auto Rickshaw driver started the Auto Rickshaw engine in front of a Auto Garage.
Sources said that the reason behind the fire was short-circuit in the Auto Rickshaw. No one suffered any injuries in the accident.
On information a team from Aberdeen Fire Station reached the spot immediately and controlled the fire. The Auto Rickshaw belongs to Ajay Debnath, S/o Hira Lal Debnath a resident of Nayagaon.
