Port Blair, May 11: Due to sudden breakdown of main HSD Pipe Line at Chatham Power House, power supply was interrupted on Wednesday from 2.30 pm onwards in the city and South Andaman area. The HSD Pipe has been temporary rectified and normal power supply has been restored.
The maintenance of breakdown HSD Pipe Line at Chatham Power House will be carried out on May 12 and power supply will be affected rotationally in Port Blair town and South Andaman between 6 am to 11 am on as and when required basis. The electricity consumers are requested to cooperate with the department.
