Port Blair, Apr 24: Around 20-25 Police personnel of Police Station Aberdeen & Bambooflat and IRBn took part in a cleaning campaign organised by A&N Police at the Tourist Point North Bay on 24/04/16 being part of Swachcha Bharat Abhiyan. During the campaign the participants were sensitized about the importance of keeping the beach clean and free from plastic and other wastes. Tourist boat operators were also asked to sensitize the tourists not to throw wastes here & there rather to put in dustbins. The campaign was headed by SHO Bambooflat under supervision of SDPO Bambooflat.
