Port Blair, April 12: The NCC Junior Division (Air Force) cadets of Kamraj English Medium School and GSSS Bathu Basti led by Care Taker Victor AnandRaj, III/O DhuryodhanRao, Hav Santosh Kumar and Cpl RYadav, PI Staff of NCC Unit conducted Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the School premises on Tuesday. The cadets actively participated in the cleanliness drive and disposed of garbage collected in dustbins. The cadets and other students of the school were apprised about the importance of Clean India Mission and the harmful effects caused by the plastic waste to the environment including marine life. The Principal and staff of the school appreciated the efforts of the cadets and made an appeal to all students to extend their helping hand to collectively achieve the aim of Clean India Mission.
