Port Blair, May 09:Power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 12.05.2012 from 0800 hours to 1400 hours for shifting of transformer at Prothrapur.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are part of Prothrapur and Pathergudda.
Power supply will also remain suspended in more areas on 12.05.2012 from 0800 hours to 1700 hours for replacement of two old poles at Govindapuram and Stewartgunj with new ones & line clearance from IPP to Jirkatang. The work will be carried out subject to weather condition.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are Bambooflat, Hopetown, Shorepoint, Stewartgunj, Kanyapuram, Wimberlygunj, Shoal Bay, Mathura, Brindavan, Ferrargunj to Jirkatang.
