Port Blair, Mar 22: A major Reproductive Child Health (RCH) Camp was conducted at PHC, Hut Bay recently in which 57 Laparoscopic sterilization operations were conducted and mothers were treated for various ailments.
Dr. M.K. Saha, Consultant Gynecologist and Dr. A.L. Janardhan, Senior Anesthetist conducted the camp alongwith Dr. Ranjith and other supporting nursing staff. The beneficiaries and the service providers were disbursed incentives on the spot as per their entitlement. Dr RK Halder, MD (Skin, STDs/AIDS and Leprosy), the State Family Welfare Officer, Directorate of Health Services, camped at Hut Bay for two days to supervise and coordinate the camp.
