Havelock, January 24: The 34th Subhash Mela at Havelock was inaugurated by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Havelock, Mr B. Saigal yesterday. Earlier the Chief Guest lit the lamp and garlanded the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. All the Pradhans, PRI members and local heads of various departments were present during the occasion.
The Chief Guest visited stalls of various Departments. Addressing the gathering Mr B Saigal threw light on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his struggle for freedom of the country. He also spoke on the documents relating to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose which have been recently publicized in the media.
