Port Blair, Dec 17: The Works & Development Committee of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Mr Jaydeep Kumar Dey, Chairman to finalize the prioritization of list of developmental works to be undertaken during 2015-16. The meeting was graced by the Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Smt Minati Biswas, Up-Adhyaksh, Mr Subir Chander, Smt. Rashmi Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer & ex-Officio Secretary and Committee Members.
After deliberations, the Committee finalized the list of developmental works to be undertaken on priority basis during 2015-16 and also decided to take up installation of RO Plant at Wandoor, construction of multipurpose hall and testing lab at Zilla Niwas in a phased manner while the Committee already inspected all on-going works under ZP, South Andaman, a release says.
