Port Blair, Dec 11: A voluntary blood donation camp was conducted by the A & N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) in association with HDFC Bank, Junglighat on Friday. Altogether, 14 (male and female) donors donated blood during the camp, which was conducted under the guidance of Dr. R.K. Halder, Project Director, A & N AIDS Control Society.
The camp was facilitated by Dr. Shahina Mustaquim, Medical Officer Incharge (Blood Bank), G.B Pant Hospital. She briefed the young donors on various aspects and importance of blood donation. The camp was coordinated by Smt Palwinder Kaur, Counsellor of A & N AIDS Control Society.
