Port Blair, Nov 23: A programme was organised on “Gender Championship” at JNRM on 21-11-2015. The programme was chaired by the Principal Dr. N. Francis Xavier. Altogether 15 students were selected as Gender Champions.
They have been distributed special badges as Gender Champions by the Principal. In his speech on the occasion the Principal called upon the gathering to be true “Gender Champions” and fight for the cause of gender equality.
Dr. (Mrs) Hema Banerjee, Associate Professor in Economics and Miss. Reny Samuel, Associate Professor in English, members of Gender Budgeting Cell of the JNRM spoke on the duties & responsibilities of Gender Champions in the society.
