Mayabunder, Oct 27: A Meeting for preliminary steps to be taken for preparation of draft Annual Plan 2016 – 17 of the departments and PRI’s under Mayabunder Tehsil was held in the conference hall of Panchayat Samiti Mayabunder under the Chairmanship of Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands.
At the outset, Mr. Biswanath Bain, Executive Officer, Panchayat Samiti welcomed Smti Prabhabati Biswas, Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad North and Middle Andaman, Smti Nachiamma, Pramukh, Up – Pramukh, Other PRI’s, Heads of Departments / Offices.
Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, spoke about the main objectives of conducting the meeting and provided the major guidelines for preparation of Draft Annual Plan 2016 – 17. Further he also emphasized on the misuse of fund by the department by giving the examples and gave suggestion to curtail misuse of fund.
In the meanwhile, Mr. S.K. Thomas, Divisional Forest Officer Wildlife gave suggestions to improve the tourism activities in North and Middle Andaman. Other officials also suggested above the developments in their concerned field.
At the last Smti. Prabhabati Biswas, Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad North and Middle Andaman gave vote of thanks to the chair.
