Port Blair, Sept 10: A one day seminar on “Socio- Linguistic base of Electoral Politics in Andaman & Nicobar Islands” is going to be conducted at Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College Mayabunder in the Head Quarter of North & Middle Andaman District, sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) New Delhi on 9th October 2015 at Conference Hall of MGG College, Mayabunder.
The main objectives of the seminar is to assess the different Socio- linguistic factors involving in the process of electoral politics in the A & N Islands. 2ndly to analyze the election results since 1967; and 3rdly evaluate the different factors underlying in the process of Island Politics.
The seminar shall be inaugurated by the chief guest at 10.45 AM and the seminar will be concluded at 4.15 Pm.
