Port Blair, Sept 9: A week-long camp for Regular Home Guards of PS Rangat was conducted at Rangat recently. During the camp, yoga classes were conducted in the morning hours and Shramdhan was performed at PS Rangat Complex and Fire Service Rangat. A cleanliness drive was conducted as part of community policing at few temple premises of Rangat area and Vanvasi Kalayan Ashram, Bakultala and beaches at Morisdera and Amkunj.
The valedictory function was held on Sept 3 during which a colourful cultural programme was presented by the Police Entertainment Team of Port Blair. Insp. R.K.Sharma, SHO PS Rangat coordinated the programme under the supervision of Mr Ajay Kumar Rai, Dy.SP Rangat.
