Port Blair, Apr 19: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray today urged the PCCF to allow collection of sand on payment of royalty by Revenue land occupants – prior to 1993 in South & North & Middle Andaman District.
“The PCCF assured me that presently there is no order for giving such permits but he will take up this issue with the Central Govt Authorities during his next visit to Delhi in this connection,” the MP said in a press release.
