Port Blair, July 19: Headquarters Coast Guard Region (A&N) with the support of Directorate of Environment and Forests, A&N Administration and Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (CGWWA) organized tree plantation drive as part of the 66th Vanmahotsav in the RHQ (A&N) premises and Coast Guard Residential Area on 18 Jul 15 at Port Blair.
CG Officers, Men and their families from all units at Port Blair enthusiastically participated in the drive. Children also planted saplings of the medicinal plants and made the event a grand success. A communiqué received from PRO CG.
