Port Blair, July 9: To cater to the needs of increased inflow of tourists and to facilitate private investment in Tourism, the Directorate of Tourism, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from International/National Legal Entities including Joint Ventures, Consortia etc for operating 100-300 pax tourist cruise vessels in A&N Islands. The vessels can operate inter-island and also to mainland and South East Asia etc.
Presently there are a few boats plying between different Islands which are insufficient to match the increasing demand. There are no luxury cruise liners at present. The cruise vessels can operate to locations with immense tourism potential like Diglipur, Hutbay, Campbell Bay, Havelock, Neil Island, etc.

Interested parties need to submit a brief profile of the organization/ consortia members, audited financial statements for the last three financial years, certificates and evidence of relevant experience along with a detailed proposal for operation of cruise vessels at the following address on or before 31st July 2015 by 3 pm.
