Port Blair, June 15: The Chairman, PBMC, Mr M Arumugam, laid the foundation stone for construction of a motorable road at Machi Line on Monday. The Chairperson, FTA Sub-Committee, Mr K Ganeshan, Councillor, Ward no. 15, Smt Sheela Singh, Councillors of other Wards and officials of the Council were present on the occasion. In his brief address, Mr Arumugam, instructed the engineering officials to expedite the construction of the motorable road for the benefit of the local residents and complete it in a time-bound manner. In his address, Mr Ganeshan, said that the motorable road at Machi Line was a long-felt demand of the area residents.
