Port Blair, Apr 16: The President of A & N State BJP unit Mr. R Mohan today requested the Lt. Governor and Chief Secretary to take all necessary precautions to safeguard people from crocodiles at Corbyn’s Cove beach, so that the beach festival do not turn into a Crocodile Festival.
Expressing shock of over release of only Rs. 1 Lakh as compensation for crocodile attack victims, Mr. Mohan demanded to enhance the amount of financial Assistance from Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 5 Lakh.
