Port Blair, Apr 20: The Election Commission for the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands had published its proposals for delimitation of Wards of Port Blair Municipal Council and invited suggestions and objections. The Commission has received twenty five suggestions / objections in this regard by the specified date, i.e. 23.03.2015. To dispose of the claims or suggestions/objections received regarding de-limitation of Wards of Port Blair Municipal Council, the Election Commission will hold a meeting at 9.30 am in the auditorium of DBRAIT, Pahargaon on Apr 22, 2015.
The Election Commission shall also hold a public draw of lots at 4 pm in the Auditorium of DBRAIT, Pahargaon on Apr 24 to allocate the seats reserved for women for the forthcoming General Elections to PBMC, an official communication said here today.
