Port Blair, Apr 09: Andaman Sheekha had published report about another shameful performance of Andaman’s Hockey team in 5th Sr National Hockey Championship 2015 (Men) ‘B’ Division Pune, Maharashtra.
Performing terribly bad the Andaman team, which is not recognized by Andaman Administration, lost 0-16 to Delhi and then suffered a 1-6 defeat to Assam.
Now it has been learnt that the Administration is planning to take some action against the team and the All A & N State Hockey Association. Highly placed sources told Andaman Sheekha that a special meeting of SSC will be held next week to finalize further course of action against those who had sent this Ghost team in 5th Sr National Hockey Championship 2015.
Earlier two years back an FIR was lodged against All A&N State Hockey Association for similar reasons. Not only this a letter was also been send to the Secretary General of Hockey India in June 2013 requesting the Hockey India to de recognize All A&N State Hockey Association.
