Port Blair, Apr 08: Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation is scheduled to arrive at Port Blair by first inaugural Delhi-Vishakapatnam-Port Blair flight on 09.04.2015 on a two-day visit to the islands.
Soon after arrival, the Union Minister will see the ongoing development project of Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair. The programmes on the day of arrival includes meeting with the Lt Governor, A&N Islands and the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands. Thereafter, the Union Minister will leave for a visit to Havelock Island.
On 10.04.2015, meetings and seminar is scheduled with the senior officers of A&N Administration and stakeholders organised by Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry at DBRAIT. The Minister will also visit the National Memorial Cellular Jail and nearby Ross Island. On completion of visit, the Minister will leave for mainland on 11.04.2015.
