Port Blair, Apr 01: A two day sale cum exhibition of Art & Craft concluded today, which got great response from the general public and art and craft lovers.
Among others, Dr. J.D.Singh, Principal, Tagore Govt. College of Education appraised and appreciated the Art & Craft Artisans trainees of Directorate of Industries.
In his personal visit to the Art & Craft exhibition at Marine Hall, Dr. Singh was impressed with the quality of art and craft produced by the local artisans and especially the young trainees of Directorate of Industries.
According to him, the artisans and trainees who participated in the exhibition have tremendous potential, which should be encouraged and guided.
One of the pieces of art & craft titled ‘Eco-Friendly Interior’ created by Mrs. Moonmoon Biswas, Trainee, Directorate of Industries, which was centre of attraction, was purchased by Dr. Singh. He appreciated the young lady and suggested her to take her talent to bigger platform for which he ensured all possible help.
