Port Blair, Apr 01: In a fatal road accident that took place Tuesday evening three people sustained serious injuries, out of which two later succumbed to their injuries.
According to reports, Suraj Din, a resident of Austinabad was going towards Prothrapur in a cycle to deliver milk when suddenly a bike came from nowhere and smashed him.
The bike was driven by Vivek Kumar and Augusties Barla was pillion rider. In the accident Suraj Din and Augusties Barla sustained serious injuries while the bike rider Vivek Kumar also sustained some minor injuries.
All three were immediately shifted to G B Pant Hospital where Suraj Din succumbed to his injuries at 10.30 pm yesterday while Augusties Barla breathed his last at 6.30 am today.
