Port Blair, Mar 27: The Multiparametric Geophysical Observatory set up by Indian Institute of Geomagnetism at Shoal Bay No.8 in South Andaman will be inaugurated by the the Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Harsh Vardhan as chief guest on March 30, 2015 at 12:00 hours.
The Lt. Governor, Lt. Gen A.K. Singh (Retd) will grace the occasion. The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray and Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India will be the guests of honour. The programme will be presided over by Padmashree Dr. V.P. Dimri, Chairman, Governing Council, IIG.
