Port Blair, Mar 24: Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS), in collaboration with Department of Agriculture, A&N Administration is conducting Three Day Intensive Training Workshop from 24th – 26th March, 2015 in the Conference
Hall of Megapode Resort on NeGP-Agriculture (National e-Governance Plan- Agriculture) and Allied Sectors i.e. Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries and e- Governance initiatives (Website Designing & IT Infrastructure related practices) in Andaman and Nicobar.
In the first day of the workshop, Mr. J.B.Singh, Secretary (Agriculture) inaugurated the workshop and delivered a brief description of the different portals of Agriculture department under the National e-Governance Project which is in its first phase. Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, IAS, Joint Secretary (Information Technology & Extension), Ministry of Agriculture, Govt, of India addressed the participants and presented a power point presentation on NeGP-A and m-Kisan portal followed by a brief presentation by Dr. Utpal Sharma, Special Secretary (IT) on NeGP. He explained about the functioning of Common Service Centre (CSCs) and also about the e-forms hoisted in .the SsDG portal. One form for issue of No Dues Certificate is presently online and one no dues certificate was generated and handed over to the beneficiary on spot by the Secretary (Agriculture).
