Port Blair, Mar 24 : As part of the drive against unauthorized construction of buildings in Port Blair Municipal area, the PBMC today sealed three more buildings for unauthorized construction and in violation of the sanctioned building plan. Out of these three buildings, two buildings were sealed in violation of the sanctioned building plan and another building was sealed for unauthorized construction.
The building/structure sealed by the Council was on Survey No. 1809/2 & 1809/3 situated at Aberdeen Bazaar, Ward No. 13. Another building/structure was of the Uttar Pradesh Samaj Committee, Link Road, Goalghar at Ward No. 07. The third building/structure sealed by the Council was on Survey no. 66 & 61/1 situated at Aberdeen Bazzar, Ward No. 13. The building was sealed by the Municipal staff under the overall supervision of Shri A K Paul, Executive Engineer (Works) with the assistance of Police.
Meanwhile, the Secretary, PBMC has appealed the public to construct the building as per the sanctioned building plan and not to carry out unauthorized construction of building in violation of the sanctioned building plan and against the Municipal Bye-Laws.
