Port Blair, Mar 24: The Annual General Body meeting of the Billyground branch of Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association was held on today, the 23rd March, 2015 at Billiground. Employees from various departments in Billiground area attended the meeting. The outgoing Secretary Shri Mrityunjay Biswas presented Secretary’s report after a welcome address by Shri Subhankar Bawali, outgoing Vice President. Various issues of employees were discussed in the meeting. The meeting adopted a number of resolutions on various issues which include Adhoc service regularization of teachers, posting of sufficient PCC/SCM in schools etc. The meeting elected Shri R.P.Gupta, GTT as Vice President, Shri Chakradhar Das, PST as Secretary and Shri Amidesh Mitra as Treasurer. The meeting was presided by Shri Santosh Kumar Roy while Shri Sukhranjan Mirdha proposed vote of thanks.
