Port Blair, Mar 08: International Women’s Day was celebrated at Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeya Mahavidyalaya, Port Blair on 7th March by the women faculty staffs.
Mrs. Rupa Roy was the Chief Guest on this occasion. She spoke about the gender inequality and the need for women’s development in these Islands. Dr. Iqbal Ahmed, Principal , JNRM also spoke about the contribution of women in the society. A colourful cultural programme was organized by the girl students of this college
