Port Blair, Mar 04: In response to approach of Shri R. Narayanaswami, Chairman, Fourth Finance Commission (UTs), Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Adhyaksha, Zila Parishad, South Andaman, Adhyaksh, Zila Parishad, N&M Andaman, the Chairman, Municipal Council, Port Blair, Secretary, Municipal Council, Port Blair, State President, BJP, A&N islands and all Pramukhs of Panchayat Samities, to furnish their views, suggestions and opinions for review the financial position of Panchayat, and Municipalities in reference to the Govt. of India Notification No. SO 2667(E) dated 26th August, 2013 issued in pursuance of Article 242 -1 and 243-Y of the Constitution.
Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, MP has further requested to all concerned to furnish their views, suggestions and opinions latest by 10th March, 2015, for submission of a compiled report to the Fourth Finance Commission, New Delhi” latest by 15.03.2015”.
