Port Blair, Mar 02: The MP office has asked all Associations and Trade Unions to provide a copy of their representations submitted or proposed to be submitted to 7th CPC by 07th March, 2015 so as to enable Member of Parliament to highlight the genuine long pending grievances of the employees of the Island Territory before the 7th CPC.
A press release from MP office today said that a number of Associations and individuals have been approaching the Member of Parliament, A & N Islands highlighting anomalies in pay scales/ functional problems etc.
“The Member of Parliament had preliminary discussions with the 7th CPC Members during their recent visit to Port Blair and had also apprised them of the issues raised from time to time. He also intends to pursue the matter further by holding detailed discussion with the 7th CPC at New Delhi shortly,” the release said.
