Port Blair, Dec 24: A 50 KG cake cutting ceremony was organised by three political parties and members of Social Welfare Groups at Goalghar to mark Christmas Eve today at 7:30pm.
According to reports, the members of Janta Dal United, All India Forward Bloc and Lok Jansakthi Party took the initiative to celebrate Christmas with people of all section of society to spread message of communal harmony.
Mr. Sajan, Mr. Cheku of Janta Dal United, Commerade Pandian of All India Forward Bloc, Mr. G Pandian of Lok Jan Sakti party along with Mr Ashiq Ali and Mr Mohsin Ali of Social Welfare Groups were present on the occasion.
