Port Blair, November 20: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has decided to restructure the broadband tariffs for some of the popular plans in rural and urban areas in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The increased tariff will come into effect from December 01, 2014.
As per the new tariff structure, the fixed monthly charges for the two rural plans called BBG Rural Combo 250 will be increased to Rs 350. BB Home Rural Combo UL 550 tariff will be raised to Rs 650 per month. The fixed monthly charges for the plan BBG 275 will be increased to Rs 375, with enhancement in the data usage limit from the present 1 GB to 1.5 GB.
The fixed monthly charges for the plans BBG Combo 229 would be Rs 345, BBG Home Combo ULD 800 would be Rs 845, and the new tariff for BBG Home Combo ULD 900 would be Rs 1495 from December 1st onwards.
