Port Blair, Nov. 16: The pooja of Swami Ayyappa shall commence from Nov. 17, 2014. This year the Mandala pooja will be held on Dec. 27, 2014 and Makaravilaku pooja on January 14, 2015. The Akhila Bharata Ayyappa Seva Sangam is conducting Thiruvabharana yatra on Dec. 24 from Ganesh Temple, Babu Lane. This is the third year of Thiruvabharana Ghosha yatra and Pandalam (Kerala) Raja Shri Rama Varma Raja and Smt. Suvarna Thampuran will grace on the occasion.
During this period, Ayyappa pooja will be conducted in all major temples apart from the Ayyappa Temples of Haddo, Buniyadabad, Garacharma and Guru Mandiram, a communication said.
