Port Blair, Oct 19: Sanjith Bairagi, a 22 year old diver of Wandoor suffered a crocodile attack yesterday evening at Wandoor Jetty area. According to information gathered here Bairagi was attacked by the Crocodile while he was diving near Jetty area. However another diver reportedly hit one of the eyes of the crocodile to free Sanjith Bairagi.
Badly injured Sanjith Bairagi, was immediately rushed to G B Pant Hospital, where it took 31 stitches to close his wounds. The matter could not be verified as the police officials were unavailable for comment.
