Port Blair, Oct 08: The Lt Governor has directed that the damage, if any, due to recent cyclonic weather may be assessed and the relief/financial assistance in this regard as per norms may be disbursed to the beneficiaries within two weeks positively. DCs concerned may submit an action taken report in this regard by 22.10.2014. If necessary, Secretary (Finance) should ensure adequate budget availability to DC, South Andaman and DC, N&M Andaman for the purpose.
