Port Blair, Mar 30: A Tourist visiting A & N Islands found himself in soup yesterday when he found that Rs 30,000 cash has been stolen from their hotel room of TSG Emerald View, after they returned back from Wondoor. Immediately a complaint was lodged to the PS Aberdeen and after investigation it was found that an electrician had entered to room for some the work.
The electrician was later identified as Irfan Mulla and soon he was picked up by Police Party. Though Mr. Mulla maintained that he did not commit the crime, on search the money was recovered from his home. Mulla was immediately arrested and the money was handed over to the tourist.
