Port Blair, Aug 24: The New Andaman Nicobar Malyalee Association
today celebrated their 3rd annual ceremony at Atul Smriti Samity Hall, Bengali Club at 3pm.
The cultural program was inaugurated by Mrs V K Mariam Bibi, Chairperson, South Andaman, Zilla Parishad by lighting the lamp.
On the occasion Mrs Mariam Bibi congratulated the NANMA for completion of their 3rd year and also praised the association for doing various kinds of social works and cultural programs for the benefit of the Islands.
“I am very happy that artists from Kerala “Calicut King Makers” a comedy troop whom we watch in National TV Channel have been
invited by the association for performance at Port Blair,” she added.
The cultural program was witnessed by more than one thousand people in the hall.
