Port Blair, July 31: The Directorate of Civil Aviation, A&N Administration is in the advance stage of dialogue with M/s Alliance Air Ltd. for introducing direct flight services between Port Blair and Vishakhapatnam with 68 seater CRJ type aircraft under Viability Gap Funding model.
Having successfully introduced chartered fight services between Port Blair and Car Nicobar, this will be another effort by the A&N Administration to ease-out the difficulties faced by the local population while commuting to their native places, especially the people of Andhra Pradesh and nearby states. This has been one of the focus areas of the Lt Governor. A positive outcome is expected soon on this.
