Port Blair, July 31, The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to two employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service on 31-07-2014. At a function held in the chamber of the Chairperson, PBMC cheques of all retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits were handed over to Shri V Muniyandi, S/o Velu, Lineman, JE-1 (Water Works) and Smt Meenakshi, W/o Chinnakannu, Sanitary Mazdoor, Sanitary Section, Ward no. 6. Senior officials of the Council were present on the occasion.
In his address, Shri К Ganeshan, PBMC Chairperson recalled the valuable services rendered to the Council by the two employees and wished them happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the two employees on the occasion.
