Rangat, July 21: As a part of 100 days agenda governance the Nehru Yuva Kendra Rangat organized three days Youth Leadership and Community Development Training Programme at Vivekananda Youth Club, Nimbutala from 18/07/2014 to 20/07/2014 in which 40 youths from different area of Rangat is taking part in the programme. On the occasion Shri Manoj Kumar Biswas, Pradhan, Nimbutala Panchayat was the chief guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. After inauguration Shri Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat briefed about the training programme and welcomed the chief guest as well as participants.
The chief guest appealed to youths to take maximum benefit from this programme. During the programme the topics like Programme management, Coordination and linkage with other agencies, Community development – concept and process, Good citizenship and responsible citizen, Life skill education, Leadership – concept, skill and style, Communication skill, Personality development etc. were delivered by Shri V. Ranjith, Assistant Director (Sports), DEO office, Rangat, Shri B. Devraj, Chairperson, Voice of Compassion to India (NGO), Rangat, Shri R. Mohanan, Block Development Officer, Rangat, Shri K.S. Rao, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Rangat, Dr. P.K. Mondal, Assist. Professor, Govt. Mahatma Gandhi College, Mayabunder, Shri K. Selva Kumar, Assist. Professor, Govt. Mahatma Gandhi College, Mayabunder, Shri K. Srinivasa Rao, Assist. Professor, Govt. Mahatma Gandhi College, Mayabunder, Shri Uttam Mondal, Sports Secretary, Vivekananda Youth Club, Nimbutala respectively.
In the valedictory function Shri Manoj Kumar Biswas, Pradhan, Nimbutala was the chief guest and he distributed certificate among participants. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Alphonce Toppo, Distinct Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat.
