Port Blair, July 21: The chartered flight services between Port Blair and Car Nicobar will commence w.e.f 24th July, 2014. The services will be available weekly once on every Thursday. As per the schedule, the CRJ aircraft flight No. 91-901 will depart from Port Blair at 11:00 hrs and will reach Car Nicobar at 11:55 hrs. On its return flight No. 91-902, the aircraft will depart from Car Nicobar at 12:25 hrs. and reach Port Blair at 13:20 hrs. The ticket cost per passenger for one way between Port Blair and Car Nicobar will be as below. For Islanders and Govt. servants including Defence personnel on personal visit : Rs. 1500/- one way trip; For Officials including Defence personnel on duty: Rs. 5000/- one way trip.
Passengers will be allowed to carry a maximum of 20 kgs as registered baggage and 5 kgs hand baggage free of cost. For booking of tickets, Passengers are requested to submit their application to the Asst. Secretary (GA), A & N Administration, Secretariat on or before 12:00 hrs on the preceding day of flight. Similarly at Car Nicobar, the application for tickets will be received in the office of the Dy. Commissioner, Nicobar upto 12:00 hrs on the preceding day of flight.
