Port Blair, July 16: Aliya JLG promoted by Unnati trained by Usha International Ltd. New Delhi trained in tailoring, fashion design started 6 months course training at Prothrapur on 14-07-2014. President Unnati on this occasion informed that the trainees after completion of training will be issued sewing machines on concessional rate. He further said weaker section of the trainees can also avail loan under NABARD scheme from A & N State Co-operative Bank and Bank of India through Unnati. President Unnati also informed that a proposal for advance training in tailoring to trainees already trained is also under consideration by NABARD. The products of the trainees can be marketed through sale-counter of Social Welfare Department at Goalghar for which Chief Secretary has kindly asked the department to operationalize early.
