Port Blair, June 27: Indian Naval ships of the Eastern Fleet will be visiting Port Blair from 28-29 Jun 14, under the Command of Rear Admiral AK Jain, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Fleet.
The ships visiting include an indigenously built Guided Missile Stealth Frigate, Guided Missile Destroyers, Corvettes and a fast Fleet Replenishment Tanker.
The fleet commander will fire gun salutes to honour the flag of CINCAN on their maiden visit after Vice Admiral PK Chatterjee, PVSM, AVSM, NM assumed charge as the CINCAN. The gun salutes will be returned from Naval Coastal Battery at Ross Island, where the CINCANs flag flies.
