Port Blair, June 12: It is brought to the notice of the general public and Govt. departments that the Electricity department in its endeavour to improve and render better services to the general public is going to introduce new web-based electricity billing software at Aberdeen Bazar, Prem Nagar, Phoenix Bay, Haddo, Shadipur, Chakkergaon, Dairy Farm and Dollygunj site offices.
Electricity consumers coming under these site offices are informed that due to introduction of new billing software electricity bill payment at Common Service Centres (CSCs) for the month of May, 2014 will only be accepted from 13.06.2014 onwards.
